Window blinds in my office were falling apart and needed to replace. I selected this product because of their room darkening ability.

Easy to install room darkening blinds

It worked absolutely perfectly. Easy to install.

Not Room Darkening

These are supposed to be room darkening blinds, but they are not. I was replacing light filtering blinds from the orange store and these allow more light through than the other, cheaper ones. If you're looking for a blind just so someone can't see inside, these will suffice. If you want to darken the room, don't get these.

We purchased these Project Source as exact replacement blinds due to the fact that we wanted to reuse the existing clips to avoid drilling multiple holes in our window casing. Unfortunately, that was not possible since Project Source decided that they would change up their clips which made it necessary to remove the old clips, move the location of the new clips and additionally drill new holes. Our effort was a waste of time. What should have been an easy job was made unnecessarily difficult...

Luckily, when these break, which they will, and you need to replace the unit, Project Source completely changes the way these mount to the window every 3 years or so. So you get to experience the joys of hanging blinds from scratch every time you need to fix one. It would be horrible if you could simply swap the unit out and leave the mounting brackets installed. I am very glad they changed all parts of it. Suggestion: Upgrade the actual blinds; they are the part that breaks, not the mounting ...
