When buying a hose, one of the top things I look for is that they keep the water on the inside of the hose rather than the outside. The very first time I connected this to my outdoor spigot and filled it with water (quite literally, I took off the packaging 5 minutes prior), a 2" long seam split open halfway up the hose. Therefore, I would only suggest this hose to people who do not wish to use it as a hose.
