Would RecommendI like using this Quick Set when you have to repair old plaster walls that are cracked, or if they are losing large sections of the surface of the wall due to moisture or cold/hot changes in a house that was left unheated. You have to spray the plaster beneath down with water and then apply this paste. If you dont wet it, it will dry unevenly and may not adhere or will crack. Would RecommendThis stuff blends easy but you definitely need a mixer on a deill or a kiten beater for small quantities. Mixes fast. When it hits its setting time, it quickly gets hard in the mud pan or bucket and becomes useless. So only mix what you can apply in 30 minutes. Thin coats dry very fast thicker coars can be sponge sanded pretty quick.

Would Recommendthe powder takes a bit of mixing to get rid of lumps, but you can add water to thin it as desired. It took a bit longer to dry than I expected, but it seems to work. I have not painted over it yet, so I can't be sure of the quality yet. Sanding it was easy enough.

Would RecommendIt was suggested we use this as the first coat in patching old plaster and joining to new drywall. Then follow up with joint compound. it worked great. Wish we had known on previous remodel/repairs. It does set up quick, so best to mix smaller batches. Cleans up easy.
