Would RecommendWent on smooth. Good finish. Happy to see an alternative to the overpriced bucket. Hard not to notice when drywall products go up 25%. This is a good product that offers significant savings when you’re willing to provide your own container. Basically it becomes a $10 bucket I don’t need. Hopefully the demand doesn’t increase the price.

Great product, a little hard to get all of it out
Would RecommendI used this to texture my ceiling. I saved a bucket from other joint compound to put this in and add a little water and mix. Worked great, mixes well even without one of those expensive electric mixers! A little elbow grease and it’s smooth as buttercream. Goes on well. Just wish I was better with the texture brushes. It came out great and dried nice and white even over primer and a little ceiling paint of you have cover blue or purple drywall. Just wish I didn’t have to scrape the plastic l...

It seems to have less air in the mud.
Would RecommendI like the drywall mud but too small of a box. They also come in 4.5 gallons. I would like to see them in the store.
