Would RecommendLite Blue joint compound is a great product for fill and skim coats of drywall. It is relatively lightweight, dries well without excessive shrinkage and is easy to sand. It does not have as much glue as other blends, so should not generally be used for taping coats, but can be used for most other applications.

About the same as any other
Would Not RecommendBought this to use as a final coat on a basement project. Although it seemed to work okay, it really wasn’t much different then the compound I used for the first two coat. I still wound up thinning it down and several times I had trouble getting it to cover without leaving a divet or dry spot.
