Would RecommendI have an original 1970 solid steel garage door on my home, and it radiated the outside temperature into the garage. I use my garage as a workout space and I also enjoy DIY, but when it's 91 degrees in your garage it's too hot to do much of anything. I put in 2 layers, used 2 tubes of Loctite adhesive, and it has reduced the summer temperature in my garage from 91 to 87, and it takes most of the day to reach 87. I'm very pleased with this product! It's easy to work with, and it's the perfect pr...

Off the wall uses :)
Would RecommendWe actually bought a 60+ yr old farm house and bought this product, cut it out to fit just inside the windows, then wrapped them in the fabric of choice and placed back in the window... excellent insulation and made great black out curtains, since I work graveyards.
This is great foam board
Would RecommendThis is a great foam. Great R-value. We used two layers in a retrofit. Staggered the seams to get the best resistance to air infiltration. Taped them all. We used 1x4 furring over this with long screws through to the studs to hold it all in place. We still have to complete the job with the installation of the lap siding over the furring; the snow falls got in the way.
Good purchase
Would RecommendUsed this to insulate a water well shed. Excellent choice. Vermin don't eat it and it doesn't absorb moisture. Kept shed toasty with only a couple light bulbs inside for heat, despite a couple 16 degree nights in a row, which is rare in east Texas. Covered walls, floors and inside of door very easily using roofing paper nails with the plastic washers to hold this in place. Simple and very effective product.
