What Customers Are Saying
The sliding glass door mortise lock is generally a reliable and functional product, with customers reporting it is easy to install and effectively secures the door. However, some users experienced quality and durability issues, with the lock breaking or failing within a short time. While most found it a convenient and affordable replacement, a few had difficulty getting it to fit their specific door, requiring additional modifications. Overall, the lock appears to be a serviceable option, but customers should carefully measure their door and consider potential fit issues before purchasing.

Would RecommendPerfect part for what I needed to fix. Had to use a little gentle BRUTE FORCE to remove and even less to install. The hardest part was not dropping either one down inside the door. YouTubers make it look so easy, but mine was a fight. The part worked perfectly once I got it installed. The only real downside was I had to find it at another store along my travel route to acquire it without waiting for it to be delivered.
Patio Door lock
Would RecommendEasily installed. Works like new, actually smoother. Only criticism is that pan head/half round head screws would be better than the flat head. Not a problem, just used original screws.

Unreliable product, but no other options
Would Not Recommend17 months ago i purchased this and it has already failed.... warrant y with the company is 1 year. maybe i should order 2 to have a psare when this one breaks in a little over a year from now.
Poor quality
Would Not RecommendOut the box, I tested the mechanism with a flat-head screwdriver and it was very tight, and felt like the moving parts were grinding with each other. I applied WD-40, which helped loosen the parts. Once installed and tested with door closed, the lock would not engage. The only way I could get the door to lock was to move the lever to set the lock halfway out and up, close the door, and then move the lever up all the way to fully lock. When testing opening the door, the lock would not go back ins...
Secure Again
Would RecommendI wasn't sure if I would be able to locate a replacement lock for my slider since I had no idea of the manufacturer. This one seemed like it would work so I gave it a try. I followed the suggested installation as shown in the video and it couldn't have been easier.
