Moldy and soaked with water
Would Not RecommendI was told I couldn't buy the Sta-green until this was all gone (had bought some of the Sta-green earlier in the day). This stuff had been sitting outside since last summer and was moldy and soaked with water.
It looks expensive but very affordable.

Would RecommendHowever the mulch bags selected for pickup were rain soaked and when placed in the back of my suv, rain water started to flood out the back of the vehicle 😑. Fortunately we had several paper towels to soak up some of water. Perhaps when a customer is picking up mulch, Lowe's workers could select less rain soaked mulch bags. This would be very helpful, because I had to immediately spread the mulch and clean out the back of my suv.
I loved this mulch in my garden and would recommit

Would RecommendIt is a great deal compared to the Scotts red mulch. It is $1/cubic foot cheaper than the Scotts which really makes a difference with large quantities. It holds its color OK. I have a large area across which I spread it (over 1000 square feet) so I put this stuff down in the winter then spread a thin layer of the Scott's over it in the Spring to really make the color pop and contrast with my much larger area of black mulch that I by in bulk locally.
Look for Mold
Would Not RecommendMy bags had been rained on, were very moldy when spread, and the some pieces exceeded 12" in length. This was a poor purchase compared to previous bags.

Would RecommendWe had to get help to dig thru more than a dozen packages to find 3 that weren't already torn open. Otherwise, looks great spiffing up the landscape.
