great product for my flower gardens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for years in my flowers gardens. I love it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I can't control the clover. My flower bloom big and bright, and I don't have to keep weeding.

Good weed defense

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works good as a weed defense if put down early enough in the season. In Wisconsin, a second application in July helps reduce the warm weather weeds. Shelf life of the product is questionable to me though. Stores that carry previous years product seem to not be as effective or don't work well.

Always a smile worthy surprise

So, when the blooms burst forth, and the ground covers literally take off, and the shrubs and trees are so lush and full - I remember, oh yes...that's the Preen with Plant Food! *smile*

Safe and easy!

I usually don't fertilize, but I always use Preen because then I don't have to weed for weeks and weeks. This year I decided to use Preen with fertilizer, not only preventing weeds from sprouting, but giving my beautiful flowers a safe boost of fertilizer. I don't have to worry about 'burning' the plants, and the garden beds look great!
