Would RecommendThis stuff works. I like the 6 month extended best since I only have to apply in the spring. By fall I still have no weeds. For me the trick is to apply it just before a rain in forecast so it soaked into the ground well. I have used this for years now.

Seemed to Work in Some Areas, But Not All
Would Not RecommendI put down this Preen Extended Control before redoing my landscaping. While some areas seem fine with avoiding grass and weeds, grass is growing through the pine straw in others. This is only weeks after pulling all old weeds and laying down Preen. For how much money I paid for the extended control version, I am not happy with the longevity or effectiveness of the product. Weeding is a constant chore that nobody wants, and this product didn't seem to work in all areas of our landscaping.
