Helps reduce pesky weeds in my parking strip. I weed, spread granuar preen, then this as a top dressing. Works well.

Would Not RecommendLast year this was an outstanding product, NOT THIS YEAR! Last year the mulch was small quarter to 50 cent pieces. NOT THIS YEAR! This year there are very large chunks in this mulch making it look like the cheapest single run trash mulch you can buy. The only thing nice is the chestnut color; no one else has this.

Would Not Recommendworst mulch i think I ever bought. it had 4" pieces of wood, broom handle piece, plywood, and bits of carpet. I bought for the weed control. I didn't know i needed to break out the wood shredder. also some of the mulch was dry and brown vs.others that were wet and black. (same pallet, bought black)
