This light fixture is not well made or thought out. Though the length is adjustable, the excess (super long) cordage is expected to be shoved into fixture. The thumb screws that hold the fixture to the bracket are so close together that the weight of the standard glass shades pull the ends downward. This results in a gap between the ceiling and the fixture at the ends. The excess cord has a tendency to spill out the gap. Nice Light Fixture

I wanted to add 3 pendant lights above our kitchen island but I didn't want to add any outlets so this solved my dilemma perfectly. The electrician hung this so I can not really comment on ease of installation. I ended buying mini bulbs (13W) after I took this picture so the bulbs are not visible. I also hung the matching single pendant over the kitchen sink. Overall, we are very pleased with the new look of our kitchen.

these don't come with the globes which must be purchased seperately. the hanging wires are quite long and a bit of a hassle to hide in the ceiling if you want them shorter..they take up a lot of room. on the flip side, the length gives a large variation of hang heights. lowe's doesn't stock many of these at one time so if you need two, buy them when they are both in stock. we used them to replace track lights with the large lights in our kitchen and everybody likes them.

Nice Look - Quality Lacks

I bought this light for over my basement bar top and paired it with Allen Roth marbled stone shades. The light looks great in the area but this fixture doesn't match the quality of shades that go with it. The light hangs but from two decorative screw cap nuts and does not flush in my case due to the fixture base orientation to the my joist for support. The screw fittings for the shade are of poor quality and not centered as two of my shades - while not cross-threaded - hang at a slight angle fro...

LOVE THIS

I HAD A ROUND/HANGING CHANDELIER W/5 LIGHTS AND WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO GO OVER MY DINING TABLE. WHEN I SAW THIS LIGHT SET I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND I WAS RIGHT!!! I LOVE THE WAY IT HANGS! I CHOSE TO HAVE THE CENTER LIGHT RAISED AND THE 2 OUTSIDE LIGHTS LOWERED. IT TURNED OUT PERFECT!!

Good product

The only problem with this product is if you have a low ceiling such as 8' you end up with too much extra wire in the canopy. I had 18" cord showing when I finished so I rewired the light to get rid of the excess.

Decent light for the money

Installation was a breeze. Also liked that I didn't have to cut the wires and that they fit inside the base. The mounting screws are not positioned in the most ideal place though. Have to manipulate it a bit to get the ends of the base to stay relatively close to the ceiling. Thought at first that it might be the excess wire tucked inside the base, but turns out it is simply that the base is long and the mounting screws are so close to the center. It's OK...

This product could be improved in two ways: (1) Use something other than transparent plastic tubing to encase the wires. Make it a color similar to the overall color of the fixture. (2) Stiffen the fixture so that the ends fit as tightly against the ceiling as the middle does, where it is connected. Other than those points, it's an adequate light over the kitchen island.

Product with globes greatly enhanced decor

Product with globes provided just the right touch to greatly enhance our updated kitchen decor. Product was used with a dimmer to be able to control mood/lighting. The suspension of the globes could have been a little nicer in appearance but suspectd this would have added significantly to the price. Ease of installation would have been enhanced by allowing the control of suspension length from the bottom end but this would have probably made installation although easier, more complicated.

Interchangable Pendent Lenses !

You now have options to make inexpensively change the light fixture as your room design changes over time. There are very few lamp designs that allow this flexibility. You can also adjust the cord length to fit most ceiling heights.

not functional

The product is attractive, but not flush with ceiling on each end. It attaches to the electrical box in the middle, but no support on each end and the pendant lights are too heavy, so it droops.

We purchased this product to replace a single light fixture we had over our island. Looks great and found the perfect globes to go with it. Our son put it up for us in less than 30 minutes.
