Would Not RecommendPurchased these to replace our aging low-voltage lights. I really like the materials used in constructing the product. They are nicely built. However they only stay lit for a few hours after dusk, meaning in the winter months if they come on about 5-5:30 after sunset, they are drained and off between 8 and 9. By contrast, I have a cheap Chinese made mailbox lamp that charges up in the day and stays on all night long.

Be extra careful where you put them
Liked the product but stakes are not durable. I bought 2 lights and both stakes are broken. I broke one just putting in the ground and the next morning something had broken the other one.

Get higher capacity NiCD batteries
Would RecommendI bought 8 of these recently and they are very attractive emitting a soft ambient light that lights up the narrow pathway passing in front of our home. To make sure that the light stays on for more than 4-5 hours, I'd recommend upgrading to higher capacity NiCd mAH batteries than what was included with the lights. They come with 600 mAH (milliampere-hour) that really don't last long. You can go to a higher mAH, as long as the batteries are 1.2Volt and NiCD AA rechargeables. I've put in 1000 mAHe...
