A Very Disappointing Product

These light are Deck Lights and intended to be outside. After a good rain, they all were full of water and not functioning. Very disappointed.

Small but bright accent lights

Portfolio 2 pack Black Solar LED Outdoor Step Light. When I first got the lights I placed them on the steps going down the walkway to the lower patio by the pool. While on the walkway they were exposed to the elements. The light housings are waterproof and they have held up during several rain storms. Water will get under the plastic enclosure but it dries out quickly in the sun. The battery compartment stays dry. Dissatisfied

Sticks out too far so they get stepped on and broken. Also don't always work.

Not worth it

Terrible and do not last. I loved them at first when I put them in. 2 months later they are filled up with water and rusted and none of them work. Definitely a waste to buy.

Warranty no good

Purchased these less than a month ago. Had company and noticed one of them was not on. Took it off my deck and the lens was 1/2 full of water. Opened it and the gasket which should be around the top was lying insideof the light well. Called customer service and was told since it is a weather related failure that the warranty is no longer valid! Excuse me but if you can't leave them exposed to weather what good are they?

Portfolio LED Lights

Purchased two sets of these lights to light up my patio. They all stopped working and are filled with water from the rain. I would not recommend these lights.

Disappointed

Lights looked good and put out enough light for steps or walk way. The switch to turn them on and odd is on the back. So once it is installed you cannot get to the switch without removing the light. I am only getting about 7 hours of run time out of them even after I charged them for a couple of days before I turned them on and installed them. Bright little lights.

I installed these step lights along the fence to help with a little light after entering the backyard fenced in area. These lights have a good luminous to them and are really simple to install.

Small compact lights

First, let's make sure that you should know what these lights are NOT - bright. Ambient light comes to mind when describing the output. These are 3 lumens and are not meant to shine any kind of bright illumination. I have them installed in a location to shine some light on a steps on my deck.

Alternate Uses

These lights can be used for other purposes than what they are marketed for. We don’t have a deck. I used them to light an area off the patio, outside. I first put out a control sample that gets direct sun from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. The other light is mounted above an area off the patio that needed extra light. This light gets indirect sun from 1:pm until 5:30 pm. The control light illuminates at 7:pm and remains lit until 5:30 am. The other light illuminates at 6:30 pm and remains lit until...

Handy for lighting stairs.

I used these lights to light up a set of outdoor stairs. They were super easy to install and look great! I placed them at knee height to shine on multiple stairs and they work well although the 3 lumens may be a bit weak for my needs.

Unbelievably Easy

Pick a spot, shoot two screws, push the “on” button and they are ready to go! These cute little guys (3 1/4” x 1 3/4”) will fit almost anywhere. I just wanted a little mood lighting around the back porch and these guys are perfect!

Good Outdoor Fence Light

The fence lights are nice and small. Easy to get out of the package but the screws that come with the lights are cheap. They all four screws striped out when placing them on the fence. Use your own screws. The lights are bright, nice at night.
