Nice addition to pergola

Lights mounted very nicely. They include clips to attach to a rim but I used insulated staples to hold the wires tight to the board. They come on at dark and if we have have reasonable daylight remain lit for several hours. Solar panel is fairly large so even minimal sun will give some light time. Solar panel also has a USB port you can use to charge the batteries. I have the panel mounted on top of the pergola so it is mostly hidden from sight. So far I am very happy with this light set.

Great for my deck!

These solar lights work very well. I set them outside on a sunny day before stringing them across my back deck. Every night since I installed them, they automatically light up at dark. Depending on the hours of sunshine, the lights will stay lit between 5-8 hours each night. The light given off by these bulbs is not real bright, but they are what I wanted. I am greatly impressed with these solar lights. They are sturdily made and versatile. The solar panel is a nice size and the panel can be adjusted to any angle between 90 degrees vertical and flat on horizontal. Solar powered string of lights.

One of the best features of this 15 bulb string of lights is that because it is solar powered, you can hang it anywhere! At 18.5’ long, it covers a nice stretch along my deck railing. I included daytime as well as night time photos because you can see the good sized solar panel in the day time photos. The clear LED bulbs have a vintage look but don't use the energy of incandescent bulbs. The bulbs are a nice, bright warm white. The string is battery powered and charged by a solar panel, so no need to run extension cords. The lights run in several modes, solid on and a couple different blinking patterns. These are good black finish string lights led and they are solar powered which is great you don’t need to run the plug to them just connect them to solar panel which is great , they illuminate up to 8 hours on a full charge and they have up 5 year warranty and the bulbs are mad from plastic which is great it’s not glass great product for now

I wanted this product to light an area in my yard along my sidewalk. I also thought I could use on the back porch for some evening lighting. Out of the box, I believed that PORTFOLIO did a good job with designing and manufacturing the solar LED light string. The product was well packaged including the hardware or ground mounting options. Poor quality comtrol

Disclaimer: This review unit was provided to me for free to review. That being said, I will review it as if I had purchased it. I like the look of these clear round bulbs. It is marked as acceptable for outdoor use. Per the instructions, I plugged the solar package into a USB plug to get an initial charge. These solar string lights are easy to put up with the built in hooks. Includes 15 lights and covers 18 ft. Has four different light modes and last about eight hours. First charge is better using the usb plug. Lights are bright considering they are solar and it is January.

Awesome solar lights!

For me, this is an answer to provide light inside my greenhouse. I hung up the solar panel facing south. Then I strung the lights along the rafters of the greenhouse. I attached the cord of the lights back into the socket of the solar panel. I didn't know if the solar panel was set to on or off but decided to let it charge all day. Very happy with product

I am so excited about the Portfolio Solar White Outdoor Lights. I have been wanting solar lights for our RV when we are camping and these fit the bill. Easy instructions as to how to set them up and I like that when I unpacked the box the bulbs were individually wrapped to protect them. Camping will be fun this season using these lights.

Works for what I wanted/needed

I bought this because of the reviews and I wanted to use the strand for primitive camping and for my son to use when he is on his scout camping trips. I didn't realize these had a charging port when I ordered them online so I was excited about that when I opened the box. I set the solar panel out in the morning and plugged it in to charge for maybe 30 minutes to an hour and turned the strand on at 6:00 pm and the lights stayed bright for about 2 1/2 hours. Not worth it

I bought these at the store and set them up a few days ago. I cannot speak to how long one charge lasts because I’m not sure when they turned on (I’ve been at work), but they definitely turned off before midnight. HOWEVER, one bulb does not work, two are very dim, and to top it all off, when they come on at night, they default to the rapid blink mode which looks like a police car light. Don't buy!

Your factory installed batteries reverse polarity! Also output wiring to lamps - reverse polarity! Original batteries - ruined. Made repairs on my own, works great. Better rethink factory decisions.

Do not buy

I bought two boxes. They stopped working after 2 weeks. I am very disappointed. I lost $80. Did not expect they stopped working and I get rid off boxes. Do not buy!!!!

Don’t waste your money

I bought this set from Lowe’s and they stopped working within a week. Took them back and got another set thinking maybe I just got a bad set and the next set literally lasted ONE night. My husband threw box away so now I have $40 worth of lights to throw away. Very disappointing. Wish I would have read reviews before I bought.
