honestly i wanna give more stars but im beyond disappointed about the gumball eyes. it changes everything completely. we’ve had gumball eyes for many many years, i dont understand why discontinue it, instead of just making an alternative with chocolate 🤷🏻‍♀️

BRING BACK THE GUMBALLS!!!

Replacing the gumballs with the chocolate eyes was the most obvious way to cut costs and simultaneously make a once iconic product, into a disgusting one. Who wants to eat chocolate with fruit punch & cotton candy??

Complimented the flavor nicely. Originally Design > nEw DeSiGn excited to purchase in bulk when changed back. Boycotting till then.

We're done with SpongeBob Popsicles. These once iconic pops now missing gumball eyes are no longer anyone's favorite childhood memory. Now they are just ice pops invented in 2023. Who ever thought of pairing fruit punch and cotton candy with chocolate?

I’m honestly conflicted while completing this review. I would love more than anything to give the SpongeBob Popsicle a 10/10 with 5 stars but I can’t. The flavor is by far amazing, and one of my favorite treats, but the chocolate eyes are a major turn off for me. These popsicles were 10000 times better when the gum ball eyes existed. I’ve eaten SpongeBob popsicle my whole life, & it was always perfect with the GUM BALL EYES. Whose bright idea was it to switch to chocolate eyes? They need to be fired! Why would you put chocolate with something fruity? I hate it. & I won’t be buying this product until you put the gum ball eyes back. Idc if I’m grown. Y’all ruined an important part of my childhood, & my child hates the chocolate eyeballs too.

The chocolate throws off the products taste and is not a fun feeling when you’re eating a punch flavored popsicle then tasting cocoa. I feel robbed of the experience of eating one .

A complete disgrace

The reformulation is absolutely heartbreaking and unpleasant. The gumball eyes were without question the best part. My childhood was going to the ice cream truck and ordering a delicious SpongeBob classic that tasted full of flavor with fun and yummy gumball eyes. Now for nostalgia purposes I wanted to buy some. So I did and opened it and was absolutely horrified. What did this GODAWFUL company do to RUIN the best popsicle ever made? They put DISGUSTING and SHAMEFUL chocolate smear for new eyes ...

It looks deformed and it has a broken piece of popsicle stick frozen on the side of it. The teeth are huge it’s got no eye balls I don’t understand what happened to this thing. What a waste of money

Great Popsicle- But Needs Gum-Ball Eyes!

I love these SpongeBob SquarePants Popsicles but recently found that they have changed the iconic gum-ball eyes into chocolate eyes. This has seriously diminished the quality of the product, including but not limited to the taste. The gum-ball was an extra sweet treat, in an already sweet treat. It was a staple in many peoples childhoods, and I believe it should continue to be so. Please seriously consider changing it back to the original. I'm not just angry about the nostalgia factor, The new chocolate eyes are just BAD. It doesn't go well with the ice cream at all, and spongebob looks weird with the smaller eyes.

My four year old chooses this as her treat after school. Now my 23 year old and even I love this pop sicle. It is delicious and I have never seen it in the grocery store. Fruit punch + cotton candy, delicious flavors! Please bring to the grocers!

Missing Gumballs

I used to love these, but the biggest reason I would get them was for the gumball eyes. I bought one recently but the eyes were little chocolate specs. Aside from the gumballs tasting good, it was an internet meme to pull out the popsicle and the eyes were always a little silly. Is there a petition to sign to change it back?
