Would RecommendIn attempting to sharpen the blades on my lawnmowers, I determined that I needed a tool that would hold them in place while I sharpened them; In particular, my riding mower. I had located a pair of heavy...and more expensive...vice grip tools and was leaving the hardware area ..and saw these! They were at a great price considering I only sharpen the mower blades once-a-year. One of my best finds of the year🏅

Would RecommendStrong clamping and hold strong til released. Had to use them in a bind to hold down a truck cap I purchased after realizing the truck top clamps I purchased weren’t big enough to use on this particular truck cap. They held strong at 75mph on the highway and are still being used until my actual cap clamps come in.
Not a great grip
Would Not RecommendIf you look at all your pliers, channel locks, vice grips, etc there is a ratio. The ratio of how far the cutter/ gripper is in front of the pivot point compared to how far back your hand is. That is your leverage. Look at these things, it is almost a backwards ratio. That makes it hard to get a tight grip. Messed with mine long enough that I couldn't return them. I threw mine out. Didn't even want to give them away.
