clamps too weak

I was looking for a larger throat depth than the bar clamps that I usually use, and in that respect, this was the perfect solution for size, hold strength, etc., and the tool seems sturdy enough to hold up well over time. Therefore, my only complaint has nothing to do with functionality and only with the design/production quality of the clamp itself.
