The Pit Boss controller with the preset temperature selections is crap! It's terrible at keeping a at temperature. Get the updated controller. It's rock solid at temperature keeping!

Would Not RecommendBought this a year ago and it's broken already corrosion and broken links on the board the grill when not in use stays under a cover it's a shame because I love the pit. Boss and the gorilla has been awesome. But this board has been toast it out way too quickly.

A good improvement but it could use a feature
Would RecommendI upgraded to the wireless controller. I like it a lot and I no longer need to use a separate meat thermometer when cooking. I wish they had an internal temp settings guide such as "meat rare", "Poultry", etc. so it would show me the options for whatever I was cooking. That way I could set the thermometer to "Meat Medium" and it would show a temperature goal of 145 and then beep when the correct internal temperature was reached.

Would RecommendI looked up the video on how to replace the board and everything went seamlessly! It works great and with the Bluetooth interface, you’re able to control the temperature remotely.

Would RecommendWorks great. I installed this on an older pit boss which had the non connected legacy board. I had a pork butt catch on fire in the smoker and it definitely ruined the ambient temp probe but I also replaced the board in case. Instant upgrade and it’s so much better using the app to control the grill and monitor the cook. I also appreciate many more temp options thank the analog control board.
