Would RecommendI've owned this splitter for 5 years and it's performed flawlessly. I've replaced the pull cord 1 time and the hydraulic suction hose. It has been used hard and always stored outside uncovered in the NH weather. I've used it pretty hard and it's always done a great job. Estimated about 35-40 cords of wood have gone through this. Love it
They don't honor they manufacture warranty

It started easily and had no problem splitting a half-cord of wood in not much over an hour. What I didn't like was that this was a display model which had been sitting in front of the store for quite a few months.
