Fills in patchy grass areas well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a bag of Pennington Rebels Sun & Shade. I used it to fill in patchy areas on my lawn where we had used another product to remove a few weeds. It grew well with regular watering and was easy to maintain. It has blended in with the grass well but is a bit of a darker green shade so that is something to think about when using this for planting.

It took a couple off applications because of the rainstorms we've had to put a challenge on this. Finally after things dried out I overseeded an area of the lawn that had bare spots. Finally after about 3 weeks I did start to see some growth. Its been a challenge but I blame the weather with lots of rain and cold dips in the night.

Beautiful Grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Followed the directions on when/how to apply the seeds. I will say, they did take about 16-20 days until we started seeing the pop up grass. Once it came it, it was great. It came in thick, green and lush.

Great Grass Seed - Would Buy Again and Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn has some very shady areas, only getting sun a couple of hours a day. This is the first product that we have used that actually filled in those shady patches and made my grass look uniform. I love it!!

Grown fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product definitely exceeded my expectations, I did not expect to have such a nice thick lawn in such a short period of time. After 8 weeks I have a beautiful thick lawn that my children can enjoy playing on! Great product, definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spread the seed out on my lawn and wet it down and not even a few days later I had sprouts showing up. The seed mix went a lot further than I anticipated as well! Really like this stuff!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not have a seed spreader, so I just spread using my hands, and I must say I was pretty surprised with how fast it grew and how much better my lawn looks. I have issues with trees dropping sap and needles on my lawn and it killing the grass. Also, I have a lot of shady spots where I can't seem to ever grow any grass. This Sun and Shade variety I think is the best one to get because it will grow grass in problematic areas. I bought a few mo...

Rapid growth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this product on our very dead yard, we are starting to see growth with only 3 weeks of use, living in Colorado makes it hard to seed around this time as it's getting cold but I am very impressed with the growth already, we will be buying this product again to use in the spring time and hopefully get our yard ready for the summer time!
