Good Value

I was looking for a reciprocating saw that was good value. It is easy to use, blades can be changed quickly, and works well. I would recommend this product.

Recip saw

The first one wouldn't hold a blade. Porter Cable customer service was very nice and had me return it for an exchange. The 2nd one works like a champ. As more apps normally means more weight, I really like this one and couldn't be happier.

Porter Cable recip saw

Although this saw has yet to be used, I have both Dewalt products and now, a Porter Cable product. It is my understanding Dewalt owns Porter Cable. I have Porter Cable tools of 20 years ago.... all good tools. My confidence is that Dewalt would want all their products to be recognized as ‘preferred tools’ by the folks who select them (over other brands). If the recip saw performs at a lesser level than is expected then both Porter Cable and Dewalt will be informed. Any money spent on an inferior...

porter-cable eciprocating saw.

I had one before Florence flooded it out. it is heavy duty and a bit heavy, but i plows through stuff like nobody's business. It would also be helpful if it had a trigger lock, but it does the job.

Garage door removal

Used this to remove my old wooden garage door. Cut through the wood like butter. Was able to change blades quickly and cut down the metal channels with no problem. The saw has a nice heft to it and the trigger is not overly sensitive. All in all, very pleased.

Sawsall

I have needed a reciprocating saw for quite a while & this one finally went on sale. It is a workhorse, get the right blades & you can cut almost anything.

WORKED WELL

I am a novice user. I put a cat door in my bathroom door. So I bought this when it was on sale, used it and was successful. I was pretty proud of myself. I even changed out the blade because the blade that came with it was a little short for my job. Seemed plenty powerful and not as awkward as I thought it would be.

All saw.

When I worked construction, this was called an allsaw because of its versatility. Love the price and the tool. Use for cutting pvc, wood and drywall. Just a few of many uses!
