Extremely Dangerous Machine-Has A Fatal Flaw!!!!!

I bought this at Lowe's for work around the yard, like cutting down limbs. Have a chain saw but those are such a pain and really overkill for 2" limbs. The saw works very well on limbs up to 5-6 inches and I did use it for cutting down metal chain link fence posts and it also worked well, but be aware, it has a fatal flaw. My ryobi quit after 2 years the blade attachment part rusted shut. I replaced with this porter cable. Cutting 4 in and 2 in cast iron pipe. Abs pipe and wood or nails. To Whom It May Concern, I received my order, a Porter Cable Reciprocating Saw yesterday afternoon at 5 pm, 12/27/16. I discovered my package left by the UPS driver behind a fence which is behind my mailbox, (no gate, the package was at an open end of the fence). I have never owned a similar saw, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems like a very well-built and high-quality tool. I was digging a trench for a French drain and kept hitting large roots. I tried to saw them by hand but it was slow going, so I ran over to my local Lowes and found this. Good, Light Design BUT doesn't hold blade

I don't usually return tools/products, but this tool failed me a couple of times. I used the blade that came with the tool to but down a couple of studs for a window I was building in an existing wall, but the blade kept ejecting from the tool and I had to summon the power of Thor to pry the stuck blade out of a halfway cut stud. This is a great tool. I was surprised how cheap it was, yet very powerful and effective. This tool does what it was designed to do and does it well. No complaints so far. Great Saw

So far this has saved me well. Used it this week to help me with a shower and deck at our trailer. Easy to use and had enough power for my uses. Even cut so tree roots with it. Made it an easier time for sure. Blade changing was very easy with just a thumb and fingers. Lightweight and just plain enjoyable to use. Very nice saw. I have several Porter-Cable tools and have always have had good luck with them. This saw is a good size for me, not very big and easy to handle. I used the saw to cut nails off from underneath decking. You will need to buy metal cutting blades because they only give you a wood cutting blade.
