A little bulky

Has plenty of power. It is a little bigger than competitor models and the guard should be about half the size it is IMO.

Gets it done!

If your just using this on small to medium projects on occasion, I can’t imagine you would need anything more than this grinder. If your using on a day in and day out basis there are probably better tools, but this one gets the job done without issue. Great for the money!

Keeps on Kickin

I’ve cut tile, brick, drywall, metal railing, metal trim, and this thing for $30 just keeps on kicking. Definitely great quality and durability in a small inexpensive package.

Great bringer for the dollars

Very well made for a low priced product. It is quite heavy for the size which tells me the plastic content is low and the motor has some size. Larger than some in its class so may not be as good as some in tight spaces. The only complaint I have is the switch and how you lock it on. Takes two hands to lock on.

Had more power then expected it to have. great for the price wish I would have got the paddle switch model.

Works great BUT

The grinder is hands down the best you can get for the price it doesn’t just work well enough to get the job done it goes above and beyond. BUT it vibrates quite a lot with grinding wheels it doesn’t have this problem with cutting wheels though. This issue seems to be getting worse with age as well

Great little grinder

I just received this grinder and am impressed with the quality of it. It is quieter than my old Ryobi and more powerful. The switch on my old grinder burned out and of course it has been discontinued so it can’t be repaired. This Porter cable grinder has been around for a while so parts are readily available should I need them. Some reviewers stated that you cannot pull a cut off wheel on this grinder. Works great for my small landscape and property preservation business, cutting mostly 3/8-1/2” rebar and bolts.

Very handy, must have tool

I have only used this grinder twice, purchased it for my log splitter and axe but sure it will come in handy in other future projects.

Tile remover

Bought to fit a thin set grinder and vacuum attachment. the vacuum attachment fit, but not quite right. all in all it worked but fitment could have been a little better
