Branding blunder

The quality seemed fine, however Profect Source was etched right on the front in large font. I didn't want to read that all day long every day, so I returned it and will look for another one.

Easy to install.

Installed very easily with no issues. Seems robust.

No replacement parts provided in documentation!

I installed this unit rather easily. My issue with this unit is that the vendor does not provide replacement part information for the ceramic cartridge or the washers that go on the spout. Eventually, this unit will leak, so unless you know what the replacement parts are, you'll have to buy a new unit. I called the vendor. They didn't know. What does that tell you? I do not recommend purchasing unless replacement parts info is provided.

Works only with 3/8"OD supply

Do not buy this item unless your water supply line is 3/8"OD. The description on the box says, "Attach 1/4-in or 3/8-in quick connect adapter to end of shank on faucet." This is both imprecise in that (a) it does not specify if that measurement is inside or outside diameter and (b) misleading as there is only a single connector supplied, namely a 1/4-inch OD by 3/8-inch OD. Great addition to sink, had all necessary hardware!

Filtered water on demand

Added this beside the kitchen faucet where the soap dispenser goes. Added a charcoal filter under the sink.

Poor connection fitting style

This product has a nice feel and is attractive. The downside is the quick-connect supply fitting. It leaks and there is no easy work around other than to buy SharkBite fittings that also leak. I will be on my third try at the next repair attempt. If I had realized the connection nightmare associated with this device, I would have kept looking for another solution. The ultimate solution may have to be encasing the entire fitting in epoxy.

Still missing 1/4" connector

Faucet seems solid. It still does not have the 1/4" connector more than a year after they claim they added it. I had to make an additional trip and spend $16 more for 3/8" tubing and 3/8 to 1/4 reducer connector.

No air gap

That you can put it in "on" position without continuous hold on the lever. It looks like a mini version of my main faucet.

Missing part

If you take apart your water filtering system, put a new drinking faucet and now need to wait for a week(?) for a missing part that SHOULD BE there. Where should I get my water? Should I put back the old system and wait for the part? No wonder the shelf was full of returned boxes of this item. If I knew that it only includes the 3/8" adapter, I will not buy it.
