This thing will not stop going off. We do not have a big house, but if you swaddle your baby with one blanket the device will not connect from one room over. If it can’t read through a thin baby blanket, how would it know if my baby is in trouble.

False alarm

I would remove the sock and place it on to the charging base station. However when attached to the base station the sock would alarm stating it was loose and off the child. I think a connectivity issue was going on between the base and monitor. The company did resent a new monitor but the base issue continued. Ended up returning the sock. The company was responsive and helpful. However the product had issues.

Needs stronger Bluetooth

We use it every night. The only thing is, I wish the Bluetooth was stronger… we are constantly getting connectivity alerts in the next room changing night time diapers.. it alarms and wakes up one of us even though one of us is with the baby. My speaker works s multiple rooms over, why doesn’t this??

This product will fail after one year

Warning, this product will fail after one year of use. Invest in something else. I’m unbelievably upset by the resolution for my sensor issue. My sensor stopped working properly today out of nowhere and the only solution given to me was to purchase a new one at 50% off. I have been a loyal owlet customer since 2019. Does give peace of mind but also has flaws

I want to start off with saying that I do love our owlet sock. It gives us the peace of mind which is exactly what we were looking to have. However, the amount of times I have just gotten my baby to sleep and the owlet sock alarm goes off saying it lost connection yet the base station is right next to where we are the sock is not too tight or too loose and in good placement has got to be the most frustrating thing in the entire world. Great idea poor execution

this was given to us as a gift so I'm not even going to bother trying to reach out about replacement or warranty or anything but it seems to be an issue look at the 1 star reviews. The sock is constantly disconnecting and setting off the alarm even when we are in the same room it says sock out of range. last night it went off 26 times. Peace of mind and safe sleep

When our son was born he spent his first few weeks of life in the NICU for his breathing issues. Ok at best. Not sure if I’d buy again

I would rate this a 2 at best. If the child is in light or heavy in sleep, the graph is slow and behind. The sock disconnects very easily even if you are in the same room. We have been standing right next to the home base and it’s alerted us that the sock was disconnected. We double checked sock placement and everything is correct. I know some think the owlet is controversial but I couldn't do without it. After 3 years of IVF our baby was born a bit premature and had a BRUE at 1 month. ( yeah, I didn't know this was a thing either!!!). I ordered it same day at 2 am in the ER, spent another 8 hours at the hospital monitoring. Good information but very frustrating

Having our baby wear the sock gives us a good piece of mind and it also is extremely frustrating 6/7 nights. It goes off that it is not placed right, out of range, or something else. We will be in the same room nothing blocking the signal and it will go off. It goes off if my knee is between baby’s foot and case station. It goes off multiple times almost every night. I end up shutting it off while putting our baby to bed because it continues to go off multiple times.

Terrible

I have been using this for a month now and there is constant connection issues. The base constant beeps at us saying connection was lost with the base system. We have tried reseting it all, moving the location of the base system, and even buying a wifi booster through our wifi company. It only works when she is in her bassinet directly next to the base system. The second we move her farther then a couple feet from the base system its constantly disconnecting and giving us issues. So disappointed

I primarily use this as just a camera monitor these days, but the frustrations have been endless. Newborn issues were a lot of false alarms, but with your first baby (particularly one who got here early) the last thing you need is the anxiety of an alarm going off indicating something is wrong at 3 am. Worth it but flawed

It’s a great product but I will say it is very sensitive with the base station and disconnects frequently. It also doesn’t work in hotels. For a family that travels constantly that’s not ideal.

Bought this for my premee baby. She weighs five pounds. Sometimes the sock will be fine especially with a sock on over her foot. But 9/10 false alarms every five minutes. No matter what I do or read to prevent it, nothing works. Thing is absolute scam. O2 sensor isn't even accurate according to studies give false alarms. Returning it

We love it

We are currently using the owlet on our 3rd child, 4th child in our extended family. It has given us such peace of mind, especially in the first 6 months. The sensor just went out after 4 years, 4 kids of daily use for months and we were able to purchase the sensor replacement and finally mama can get a goods night rest again! can’t recommend it enough especially in those post partum scaries days.

I have been using the owlet socks for my twin sons since they came home from the nicu. I have such peace of mind every night. And the sleep window predictions have been so helpful—especially keeping track of naptime for two! They are easy to set up and use. The app is very user friendly.

Excellent product

I have bought the sock with cameras for both of my sons, age 2 and 2 months. We still use it for both of them. While you do receive a notification as they get older that it’s “not a medical device,” the sock still provides us parents so much relief. My older son has asthma and allergies. If he’s sick or had a rough day with allergies we still throw the sock on him to monitor heart and oxygen. Can't Live Without Our Owlet Dream Sock!

We started using this the very first night we brought our baby home from the NICU and still use it 11 months later! It gives us so much peace of mind, especially after getting used to constant monitoring in the NICU! I'm also always able to tell if my baby is getting sick or a fever based upon his Owlet readings, which is really great to know! Would give a 6 out of 5 if I could :)
