Not sure it is worth it

I used the older version of the sock for my twins and it worked well. I have the newest version now and have been using it for my son. It constantly beeps saying it is disconnected from the sock. It has woken me up so many times. The times that it has gone off with a red alert I am looking at my baby and he is wide awake and moving around. I am not happy with our newest version. WiFi issues

The product is awesome. The support team needs some training on WiFi connections. The Dream sock only operates on a 2.4GHz WiFi which they are very adamant about. However it will only operate on a WPA network. It will not pick up or connect to a network operating on WPA2/WPA3, which most newer routers are set to operate on. I really wanted to love the Owlet sock monitor, but it’s honestly been more frustrating than helpful. The biggest issue is constant false alerts for “sock displacement” even when my baby is completely still and sleeping. It goes off multiple times a night, which completely defeats the purpose of having something that’s supposed to give you peace of mind. Can’t even get it to connect to WiFi

Getting one star due to the fact that I’ve been trying to connect this sock to WiFi for hours now and your owlet support is not helpful at all. Your WiFi connect for the dream sock sucks and has sent me spiraling. I just want to use this sock and can’t even do so because of the WiFi. Do better.

Love it

I bought this for my second after having one for my first. I absolutely love it, however it does have some connection issues. it will randomly say it's been disconnected when my baby isn't even moving. she could be 2 ft from it and it will alarm randomly. it's not very common. Other then that I love it and I will keep using it.

Overall good product

Overall, we love the owlet sock. It tracks oxygen and heart rate accurately and gives us peace of mind! The only thing I do not like with the sock is the ability to change the parameters. I understand we can get a physician’s order to do so, but if we can’t, why does the low oxygen alert not go off until baby is below 80%?? It should go off if baby gets below 89%! Again, overall the product is amazing, but I wish they would make this feature accessible to all parents.

love it when it works…

I love this product very much when it wants to work… the wifi keeps disconnecting and i’ve been having to reconnect it every 30 mins lately. used to not have any issue with it till the past couple nights. just getting really annoying to reconnect wifi to see live health readings…

LOVE the product. Hate the base station lights.

As a highly anxious mom, this product brings so much peace of mind. When my son started rolling in his sleep, I was so worried about him sleeping on his stomach, but knowing that an alert would go off if he was in trouble gave me the ability to get a little sleep. Not worth the hype

Nice for peace of mind but oh my goodness are there a lot of false alarms. We can't even take our baby into the nursery from the bedroom to change her without an alarm going off. Sure we could pause the alarm for a little but its hard to remember at 3am with a screaming baby and 1 hour of sleep. The movement alarm needs to have the option to turn it off. We LIVE by this owlet, helps with postpartum anxiety and has truly helped my mental health with being a first time mom.

Highly Recommend for cold and flu season

My 4 and a half month old currently has a cold and last night it alerted us at 1am that her oxygen was at 80%. We had just cleared her nose and gotten her to sleep a couple hours prior. We woke her and cleared her nose again but I can’t even think about what could’ve happened had it not alerted us. I highly recommend this to any parent!

Great but definitely not perfect.

We have the dream sock and the cam 2, both a great. The camera is...a camera. Its pretty accurate in the temp and humidity readings and the quality is fair. The sock we have mainly for peace of mind and less to track baby's sleep. However I dont know if its the products that are lacking or the app. Maybe both. Don’t buy this

This sock is not good. I do not recommend. It’s currently 9PM and my baby was asleep and the base station decided to not connect with the sock anymore and ring waking my baby up. I am currently in hour in trying to probably solve why the sensor will no longer connect to the base. Do not buy this.

Perfect if your house has no walls!

Disappointing downgrade

I am a former Smart Sock 2 owner and upgraded to the Dream sock for my baby born this past August, as the Smart Sock 2 was no longer being supported. Either I got a lemon, or the dream sock is truly a downgrade. Good but not great

Product works great when child is sleeping but it’s very sensitive to wiggling especially when you are trying to hold your baby to get them to go to sleep. Frustrating!

Best purchase I have made since becoming a mom

I started using the dream sock as soon as I came home with my premie that was only 5 pounds. (Yes I am aware that the sock is intended for 6 pounds and above) As a first time mom with severe anxiety, worsened by my baby having breathing problems, this sock helped to ease so much anxiety that I had at night when my husband and I would go to sleep. I have recommended it to so many coworkers of mine as something they definitely need for when their babies arrive!
