Does not keep time

I’ve had this for two months. At first it worked great, then it stopped keeping time & comes on at random times throughout the day and night. Battery change did not help. Last night I turned it on manually and set it to run 30 minutes (which usually works fine) and luckily I looked outside before I went to bed because it never shut off. It also has a very abrupt turn on/off sound (I’ve seen it referred to as “water valve hammer”) that you can hear anywhere in the house. I’m done with it & will b...

Actually, the hose remains fairly ignorant; it's the timer that "knows" what to do. So simple a child could program it; as I pre-geezer, I must truthfully say, that it is so simple even we age-enhanced humans can set it. It fit my needs: dictating to one hose when to come on and for how long.

I’ve just started using this timer to control my soaker hose and so far it’s working well. It was easy to set and is accurate both in frequency and duration.

I have 3 of these and they work great. No leaks and the timer works very well. Easy to setup. I use them for my garden and my yard landscaping. Would buy again.

Good idea but terrible implementation.

This hose-end timer is easy to program but really unusable because it must be mounted almost perfectly level or it continually resets itself and must be reprogrammed. The instructions tell you it must be mounted level and not cant significantly to the left or right. This appears to be an issue because the battery mounting pack just slips into a socket, and if anything moves it loses connection which causes the timer to reset itself and lose all of the programmed settings you have carefully put...

Great timer!

This timer is easy to install and easy to program. I have two of them and they both consistently turn the water on and off at the set times. And I don't see any water leaking where they're connected to the spigot. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

simple timer

really designed for off a faucet as the directions state dials need to be upright. if you are connecting it to a hose on the ground you have to find a work around. Very simple programing you don't need instructions for.
