gentle fountain sprinkler

this is my favorite sprinkler. i can adjust the pressure from my hose faucet to make the sprinkler cast a wider spread or cover only a smaller area of my garden. I should add that my kids are super excited about running through its fountain like spray. This sprinkler is ideal for garden beds since it’s spray is soft and mimics rainfall well.

Simple design, excellent control of the spray. I used it to protect my fruit trees from sub freezing temps.

I LOVE WATCHING IT WHILE IT WORKS!, its very neat.

I bought two of them to help me water my plants while I'm doing other chores. I like the fact that covers a good area and it changes the cycle so the plants very close to the sprinkler also get the necessary water.

tower snapped off the base after only a year of pretty light use. very poorly made. bummer since it did a pretty decent job watering!

Luck of the choice

I have bought 6 of these sprinklers and have issues with 3. The first time I used them linked in line they worked great and covered the entire area of my garden. From that first time on, there is only one sprinkler working as it should and the other two spray stationary and don’t cover where they should. I have switched them in the line and the problem continues. Very frustrating.

Great idea--poor reliability

my most recent purchase is the 3rd of these I've bought. The premise of a rotating sprinkler on a high stalk is great for tall vegetables and flowers, but these have no longevity and apparently are poorly constructed. the most recent sprinkler is only 3 months old and has broken at a critical joint. I wish I could find something similar and pay more for better quality.

Rotary Yard Sprinkler

This is my 5th Yard Sprinkler that I had bought in a period of 20 years. They are a great device for your lawn. This particular one has been upgraded in color and built. I will be ordering two more to have them in reserved.

It snapped

It snapped in half as my dog ran past it and whipped it with his tail.

Buyer beware, very thin metal.

Just tried to push this into the grass using the attached foot stand and the metal stem broke right off at the base. Very thin metal. Works great in the garden with soft soil but anything harder then that and this is going to snap. Only had this for a few months. Very disappointed in this Orbit product. I would not recommend.

Not very sturdy

The second time I used it the pipe detached from the base. It didn't look like it was ever welded in place. Good idea, bad execution.
