Good replacement bulb

I bought one of the 55 lumen bulbs for a 20+ year old Mag Lite and it was a good upgrade but as mentioned in other reviews, a bit pricey. I then discovered the 70 lumen bulb and bought three for two Mag Lites and an old Brinkman. All worked well. While I certainly could have bought a Chinese replacement for the same price, I prefer to hang onto my good old USA made flashlights.

Led flashlight blub

Purchased one before really liked how bright and white light it was. This one is just as good. Use in 2 D cell military flashlight, really great. Will buy more in future.

Didn't work

The package says it fits most D & C cell flashlights but it didn't fit mine. There's no way to take it out of the packaging without tearing up the cardboard so I couldn't return it. I'm out $16.00 and still need a bulb. It may work if it fits your flashlight. I've got one to sell cheap, no packaging.

A lot brighter!

I bought one of these to try in an old 9.6v Makita rechargeable flashlight. This flashlight normally uses a regular incandescent flashlight bulb but Lowe's didn't have that particular bulb in stock. They had enough other brands, shapes, sizes, wattage, voltage, lumens, & candle power to make an electrical engineer scratch his head and all I needed was a bulb for my grandfather's flashlight. Burned in less than 10 minutes, poor focus

I was optimistic about this L.E.D. "UPGRADE" when my Ryobi One+ rechargeable flashlight bulb burnt out after years of use. This LED bulb is the same style and wattage. It briefly provided a whiter, somewhat brighter light, but the light projected in two distinct, concentric rings vs. a broader beam. I pointed it at a cabinet wall and briefly appreciated the brighter reflected light until it quickly burnt out. Very disappointed in this LED.

Flashlite repair

Worked great on my old flashlight that they don't make bulbs for anymore.

This is the best product I have ever bought.

After changing this bulb I couldn't believe the difference . I use it all the time.

5 stars but with an explanation...

You can get a pretty good new LED flashlight for what this cost but it does work well for me. If your light has an adjustable focus beam it will likely work OK. If not, the quality of the light beam may not be as expected, if your reflector was designed for a regular bulb. I did the math and this bulb roughly doubles the lumen output vs a regular bulb in a 2 D cell light. Does not work for every flashlight

It does not work with lantern flashlights that take the 6-volt big square batteries. For these batteries, the center terminal is the negative terminal and this bulb requires it to be the positive terminal. This arrangement works for C-cell and D-cell flashlights. Fortunately, I had a 2-D-cell flashlight, so I used it for that one.

Bright light, too expensive

Satisfied with the output from the bulb, however at $13 I'm hoping it lasts forever. Almost could've bought a new light for that.

Led conversion

Put this in a 3 cell mag light BIG difference! Would recommend.

This bulb is small, but is bright enough to use as a spotlight. Amazing

Love It!

I absolutely love this flashlight bulb. I bought my first one over two years ago and this one is going to be a gift to my son. The first one I bought was used to replace the standard PR3 in my three cell Maglite and it made a different light out of it. I was never able to focus a good spot with the old bulb and with this LED replacement I can get a fixed spot that is able to reach out to at least 100 yards with no problem. Better than a normal bulb

Although it doesn't look like the picture. Easy install and is so much brighter that the original bulb.

Exceptionally bright.

Haven't had it long enough to give a complete review. So far it is all that I hoped it would be. The only down point is that it is not as adjustable as the standard bulb.
