Time to reevaluate the Velcro

As a long time user of the vertical phone case holder, I’ve had to modify the flap closure with a loop of 1/8” elastic cord. It quietly secures the flap. I’ve also added a tether to the clip as additional security. The case can slip off a belt when getting out of a car and because the case is so well made, there’s no sound. The tether is tied off with another Nite Ize carabiner.

On my 9 or 10 th, perfect tough product.

I found these has to be 20 yrs. Ago for my flip phone, thur the years have come to love and depend upon them, each new phone get new case, only issue ever had is I wear out the velcro, let's face it, over 2-3 years life of phone how many times a day do we grab it...and being a communications tech, I tend to use alot...from construction projects, to disaster relief has never failed me.

LIFE-PROOF!!!!!

I work on the docks, transporting whatever comes off of it from point A to point B. I also hook up heavy equipment to the crane’s stationed on the ship (bulldozers etc..) so I’m in constant contact with the crane operator via hand signals. One Problem

I love the durability of the case and it lasts forever. The only problem is the clip. It holds too secure!! Once its on you can't get it off the belt without taking off the belt. The clip needs to be made so that you can press on the top of it and it will open the clip up so you can take it off. Very inconvienant.

Sturdy Phone Case

I have used this case for several years. It has outlasted any of my previous phone cases by at least three times as long. It was a replacement for a prior model which gave up after a few months. I'm ordering a new one now.

A wee bit taller!

I've had an XXL vertical hardshell holster for 4 years. It has been the perfect fit for my Galaxy S9+ that also had the Otterbox Defender case installed. I now bought an S22 Ultra phone and plan to use the correct Defender case also. The problem is the XXL holster needs to be a wee bit taller than the current case. While I don't really like the Velcro fastener, I could overlook that if the holster flap was longer to cover the whole stationary Velcro area. The dimensions of the Defender are: 7 ...

need magnet

i'm not happy with velcro it wears old! I would pay more for the magnet! get 6 months out of velcro!

Secure your phone to prevent accidental drops.

This is a really good product. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. The vecro closure has Never been accidently opened. (while catering airline food) Is VERY easy to use. Check your phone for fit.You can do that in the store before purchase! It is worn parellel to your belt and the belt hook is easy to use & STAYS on the belt.

dumb design

If you drop the phone when its in the case, the phone is exposed on the top corners!! Whats the point of that?/

Xxl size hard shell case

I’m a tradesman and metal fabricator for over forty years. Anything I wear on my belt winds up looking like a disaster after even a week of use. But this case has held up incredibly. A shop filled with metal dust,sparks and everyday grime. Never a problem. Bang into my welding table fifty times a day. No issues so far. And my iPhone 13 max with a large protective case fits like a glove. Easy to remove with one hand and to slip back in. Perfect purchase for hard working or playing men and women.

Best belt holder case for cellular phones

Every cellular phone I have owned has been protected using the Nite Ize belt holder case. They are rugged and hold up to everyday use. Nice enough case, but don't expect crush-proof.

Nice enough belt pouch; just don't expect it to be crush-proof or bend-proof if you sit on it. The belt hook seems to be secure, and it also works on the waistband of some pants if there is a "fold-over" in the right place. I like the horizontal case better than the vertical one because I can wear it in front and sit down comfortably without moving it around. I have a Google Pixel 3a with the stoutest protective case that Otter makes, which is 6.5"x3.2"x0.6" or 165mmx80mmx16mm. The size XXL ...
