have my unit in the garage. I will need cord extensions for the far side of the house (3 cameras). I have a difficult time adding my wife on her phone via night owl protector app, I have a difficult time retrieving my password to view the dvr from a monitor. Other than that great value and would recommend to anyone

Awesome video images

We finally decided to get a video security system, we did the research among 6 different brands and we decided in getting the the 8 cameras kit but it has capacity to installed 8 more, We will probably get another couple of cameras later down the road. Pristine images and very convinut to monitor from their app. We are happy we choose Night Owl at the end

Great security system, it was really easy to install, the color resolution is extremely clear and clear nite vision as well. Very happy with this unit.

spotlights are great!

WOW! Awesome buy! I had the installer put all 8 cameras inside and outside around my house. I love the feature on the app where you can shut off the spotlights because I really didn't want the lights in my house but absolutely wanted them on all outdoor cameras! The lights are super bright which I love so it's like a deterrent for anyone who comes on my property!

obsessed with the spotlights!!!!!

OK so we live in a residential gated community and just purchased this system for our townhouse. I only wanted to start off with 4 cameras to try it out knowing I'd most likely want to add more later. I am so in love with this product I just bought more cameras to add on to this system. the spotlights are incredible quality, so bright and truly make a statement when someone walks by at night. great buy! highly recommend.

LOVE the app!

Just had my new system installed and I couldn't be happier! Love the easy app. I'm able to quickly scroll through and find videos and playback! also, these cameras come with a spotlight that is SO bright! I had the installer put one above my driveway and anytime any type of motion occurs the lights go off! I live in a nice neighborhood and unfortunately there was a few break ins so I'm thrilled so have these cameras with the lights as a deterrent! love my Night Owl system!!

Been a Night Owl fan for years

Have gotten many of my friends and family to buy night owl products. Recently, I upgraded my moms old setup to a newer system and decided to give this one a try. Setup wasn't bad. Running cabling is never fun, but it only took a couple hours and was well worth it. The spotlights and human detection are cool new features. Loving it so far.

Setup was pretty easy

I use to have an Arlo system, but got tired of having to change the batteries and faced some connectivity issues. Still like Arlo, but really wanted a quality CCTV system for added security. Read the reviews and took a friends suggestion. Glad I went with night owl. Had the system setup in a couple hours and it has been working flawlessly.

Recently purchased a system that has the spotlight features and couldn't be happier. They have already come in handy.
