Would RecommendThe 4 inch gate latch worked perfectly on the gate to my side yard. This gate opened up the side for my dog to travel up the side from the back yard and allows him to see where he is traken for short walks. Because of this latched gate I can open the gate for access to the side from the front or leave the gate latched so my dog can "investigate".
