Would RecommendGreat latch for the price. I put one at top of gate and one at bottom and connected the 2 with a small chain. It's windy here and the bottom would get warped. Thus fixed the problem and works great.

Would Not RecommendThis latch is not spring loaded. Once the bar latches, there is no way to open the latch from the other side as with most gate latches. Instead, the instructions say to tie a wire (not included) to the latch top and drill a hole through the fence and feed the wire through it so that you can pull the wire to lift the latch on the other side so that you can open the gate.
