top bolt comes out under tension
Would Not Recommendthis spring attaches to two bolts at either end which are attached to the screw mounts, as soon as I open the gate the top bolt came out of the spring rendering the product useless.

Would RecommendThis gate spring works great. It is a shame the directions aren't a little clearer especially the part about installing "as vertically as possible" right at the beginning. Only time will tell how well it holds up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina where the weather destroys anything that is not made of 316 grade stainless steel!
