Whole house reception

This is the second Netgear Blackhawk series routers I’ve bought. The first one was 10 years old and damaged by a storm. Very pleased with this new Netgear that provides service for the whole house. Highly recommend it.

Setup was a breeze

Setup was a breeze using the iOS app. I thought I was going to have a lot more trouble getting this unit going. I kept the same SSID name and passwords, so pretty much everything reconnected to the new Wi-Fi router without major issues. Speed doubled over my old Apple AirPort Express, and appears only to be throttled by DSL cable modem speeds now. Probably got with a Netgear NetGear Nighthawk Dual-Band AX5400 DSL modem next

Easy to setup.The speed is superb and the reliability seems to be great.

Unable to setup

The device was difficult to set up using the app so I resorted to using the web interface, which was worse as it was locked in a Chinese locale, with pop ups I couldn’t understand. Returned the device since I wasn’t able to use it.

NightHawk AX5400

We bought the Netgear NightHawk AX5400 router recently because our old router just wasn't doing the job. Since installing this new router, our speeds have been so great and we've been able to do all the streaming and browsing we want! We can have multiple devices online all at once and the service is still great with no lag. This router reaches throughout our whole home unlike our old router. Blows away optimum equipment

Was getting tired of my 1 gig fiber Network that optimum provided me on Long Island. Removed all the extenders bought this beauty connected my modem to her shut off the Wi-Fi on the optimum modem and now my speeds are averaging constant around 890 to 950 download speed for Wi-Fi or hardwired

So far great!

Replaced my old router with the nighthawk. Easy setup . No problems. I don’t recommend their security software as that gave us connection issues. After disabling we have had no problems! I recommend this router

NETGEAR Nighthawk AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 Router

True to description and reviews. We researched several trusted sites that rated this router. It performs great. We have a 2500 sq ft home and we now have wifi in every room. Installation was easy and quick. I highly recommend!

My Old Router Died

My 15 year old router ran slower and slower and finally gave up the ghost. The hardest part of installing the new Nighthawk AX5400 was installing the new password on all our devices

Good Device

Easy setup. VPN capabilities as well as intrusion detection free for a year.

Love it

Got this because my old router would lag out during games and streaming. Haven't had an issue since I have started using this.

Nighthawk router is working out fantastic and seems to be working better than the cable modem router part.

Good router

I use this router as a WiFi extender with a netgear router modem combo and it works amazing!
