Top notch performance

Fast ship got as discribed good as new after performing a reset. Only setback was setting up. As router stil had personal info, passwords, and usernames to overcome and re configuration was needed for router to function properly, used nighthawk app from Netgear to set up as if it was brand new. Happy with purchase and a good buy..

Easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a easy setup when using old wifi name and password from old router you don't have to reconnect everything to new router(like cameras, tvs, phones). Very fast supports 2g download speed and you can keep updated on your current speeds and how good of a signal you have with the router anywhere in the house or outside.

Range and consistency

After having multiple routers over the years from netgear competitors, I finally came across this Nighthawk. The competitors had either no range, issues with stability, or both. From experience.. 2ghz is normally the farther range signal, but this router is the ONLY one that had 5ghz reaching the opposite end of my home. Lowest ping and farthest consistent signal, a big W from me.

Easy control

Powerful and easy to control with the app. Setup my network with minimal issues, some password mix-ups but all in all, great box.

Router just ok

Limited coverage, in 72 hours of use had to reset it 4 times to get full speed.

Great Router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a 2 story 2800 sq ft home. This router provides excellent coverage all over. Easy to setup with the Nighthawk app. Mounted vertical on the side of the desk hutch with 2 back antenna vertical and 2 side antenna horizontal to proved full coverage. I highly recommend it.

I upgraded to this router from a Wifi 5 Netgear Nighthawk R7000 AC1900 router and it was a night and day difference with download speeds and streaming connections. No more buffering, unexpected stoppages, or long waits for loading

Signal strength is a huge improvement and the change in speed of uploads and downloads is phenomenal. Using the app is very easy. Really happy with this purchase.
