Unit Overheats

The unit overheats then when you unplug it, it dies overnight then takes all day to charge again.

I am unable to get more than 2 bars at any time so downloading or streaming is impossible.

Not Reliable

Have to reconfigure monthly. Doesn't work all the time. Not worth it. Don't know if it's ATT or equipment problems.

Poor Wi-Fi speeds

I want impressed with the Wi-Fi speeds, So I returned this one and purchased the MR5100.

Incredible Hot Spot

Picked this up as a back up to existing Wi-Fi in our new rig for full-time RV living which we start in a few months. Tested it out of the box during a quick weekend getaway and could not believe the strength of signal despite all of our cell phones having very limited bars. Improved speed

We have a very weak cell signal and our previous hotspot/router barely did the job. Some days it was as slow as a dial up connection. Our new M1 router has easily doubled to tripled our internet speed.

Using the nighthawk

So far we have been using this for about a month now and while camping it is fantastic we are able to stream shows at night and at our home in the county where our internet is not the best it has helped as well.

The product is ok for the most part. Thought it would work a little faster than I thought but maybe theirs a little operator error involved, I’m not to savy when it comes to tech.

I feel that connection is not great. Not sure if it's the area I am in or its just me because I am a little technically challenged.

Works well

It is an older model, but still gets the job done. Haven’t had any issues with the unit. Customer service is a different story. Called them to try and get them to walk me through a problem. They kept trying to force me to pay for an extended warranty.

I have used 3 other mobile routers and the Nighthawk 1100 is the best by far. It never drops a connection or needs attention. Gets the job done with no fuss. But, it's dashboard cannot be accessed with my iPhone or through AT
