Not made as well as the prior make of this model

I was brought up on Mr Coffee from my mom, aunts and uncles always using them. So keeping with tradition, it's what we have been using since we have been married for the last 38 years! I have the red one of this model, we owned the previous model (which I called Candy, yes I name my appliances because they are family lol) was amazing and we had had it for about 3 - 4 years before the hose broke on it and leaked everywhere so into the Airplane Hanger it went! Loving this coffee maker

Bought this one as a gift because I already owned one. Great looking, easy to see and program the controls. Best of all no more spillage from pot!

Best Coffee Maker

We have been buying these for many years. Even started to buy them for family members for Xmas. Clock is illuminated, so its clear to read and program. Decanter doesn't spill like other brands. Filling up the machine and the window on the front make filling easy. Adjustment of temperature is a great feature.

Awful coffee pot

Horrible machine

Thought it came some part called shower head. Used it a couple of times and then found the shower head 0-I believe== had just disappeared! Tried to brew coffee and it did was steam up all over the place.

Stopped Working

I really loved this coffee pot. It worked great for a little whIle and after a few months the coffee pot completely stopped brewing and the bottom would not get hot at at. I haven't had coffee in so long cause I dont have the money to out and buy a new decent coffee maker. .

Poor design water everywhere dangerous

Within the first week of using this coffee maker I wish I could return it but I can't. The design is terrible! The placement of the water reservoir makes it almost impossible to add water without spilling it everywhere. When the water gets hot/boils there is a hole at the back of the coffee maker, not listed/shown on instructions where the water leaks constantly right down onto the electrical cord! I bought this 6 months ago. The serve and pause cap completely broke off. My last coffee pot lasted almost 10 years, the only reason I got rid of it was because the clock quit working and I couldn't set the timer any more. At this time I would not recommend this coffee maker.

Sounds great

This pot has quit everytime I have cleaned it.The clock quits everyone. If you have a few days to wait it might work again. Not this time. 3 Times it has some the same thing. JUNK.

Good coffee maker

I bought this coffee maker a few weeks ago. I'm happy with it. It's nothing fancy but it brews well and in the morning I have tasty coffee. The only thing I would change is the design of the pot. You can never get all the coffee out and it's kind of hard to pour. Also when you wash it, it is very difficult to get the inside dry. But it's not a deal breaker for us. Nothing is perfect, right? So all in all were content with our purchase.

I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this coffee maker for about three years, until I had a guest who pour water in it, and somehow the water got into the front panel, where the clock is. Personally, I like it, I miss it, I think it looks great too, and I want another one. So I'll be buying it again very soon.

minimally satisfied

1. the handle ring is not tight enough so water and coffee leak around the edge, running down the side of the pot and dripping. Bad! 2. the water does not get hot enough so the coffee does not stay hot. Not happy.

She’s Sprung a Leak

Bought this unit within the past couple months, and the maker is now leaking water from underneath the unit. There is no obvious defect to the bottom, but it appears to be leaking from the joints of the plastic casing. With each brew cycle there’s a puddle left beneath the unit. Very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Water, water every where

For a 12 Cup coffee maker, I wondered why it didn’t brew 12 cups. Then I realized it’s because of the over flow drain on the back of the machine. You can’t add water up to 12 Cups or it drains right out of the hole in the back and all over my counter. So we tried brewing 10 cups and it still does it. As it heats the water, the maker spits water out of this hole and it runs down the back of the maker and onto the electrical cord and into the bottom cord storage slot. I’m constantly cleaning water...

Not as good as first one!

My old machine same as this one decided to retire. Was happy to see I could get the same one as I loved it that much!!! Received it promptly and was ready to go again. ONLY ONE COMPLAINT:. The coffee pot leaks more on the counter than in your cup. I had the old one in the garage, switched pots and am happy again....only because I was able to put coffee in my cup again. LOVE the machine. Hate the pot.

Best coffeepot ever

I had one similar to this one that finally gave up on me after 8 years. Although a larger space for pouring water in would be good, I wouldn't want a different model. With the adjustable warming switch my coffee is always the right temperature and a strong mode gives my morning coffee just the right flavor for a coffee addict.

I hate this coffee maker!

The clean red light started flashing after the first week of using it. I've run copius quantities of vinegar throught it...it is still flashing. The lid on the top will not stay tightly closed on the carafe. The coffee will not drip though properly and even stops dripping at times. I've had the basket overflow, creating a horrible mess. My final complaint: the box has a picture of this pot with true red, and the store display model also was true red. When I opened it at home I discovered ...
