Very sturdy (and heavy!) tv mount

I paid more for this product because I wanted to be certain that my 65" Samsung tv would be securely mounted to the wall. Product arrived on time. No missing parts. It took me a couple hours of measuring and marking my wall to determine where to mount it to ensure the tv would be centered (approximately) on the wall. (A paper template would have helped.) The kit contained two sets of bolts to attach the tv to the mount - one set was too long, the other was too short. I had to buy new bolts ...

Good quality but not easy to install

Knocking one star because for this quality and price point, it should include a template to predrill holes. The mount is too heavy to hold up to the wall and mark off holes while keeping level for 1 person. Otherwise the mount itself is good quality so far. We’ll see how it holds up

This mount is heavy duty and very well built, it holds my TV in any position and I would highly recommend it.

surprisingly strong

We bought it for a 55" TV considering it is not priced as a "heavy duty" mount. We hired someone to mount it to the wall. It took him only about 40 mins to mount and conceal the cables. He was a big guy like at least 250lbs, and he was able to hang himself on the extension in addition to the TV. We were so surprised to see how strong this mount was especially considering the price. We also purchased a heavy duty version MI-374 for a 70" TV which of course had no problem at all with the stability...

Great Product and Customer Service!

I used this mount for my 40" Samsung and it is WAY heavier duty than I needed. I'm very happy with the product and have no worries about it holding the tv and dvd player up for as long as either of them are functional. There was an issue with USPS shipping but the customer service was fantastic and sent me out another one right away. I'm a very happy customer!

Crooked factory construction

Back plate was badly installed by the factory, so the whole mount was crooked. I had to compensate with so me less-than-level wall installation. It's ok, at best.

Good mount at a fair price

This thing is super heavy duty. You could probably do chin ups on it!! I am able to turn my 55 inch TV to a full 90 degree angle. Only con I encountered was the plastic wall anchors. The mount came with 6 very heavy duty wood type screws and 6 cheap plastic anchors that when put into the drywall just spun and pulled right out. I suggest you go to the local hardware store and buy expanding metal wing anchors for any screw that is not going into a stud.

Fairly easy to install.

It does not extend as much as we would like for our CORNER situation. So the TV is up, but we don't have motion options because the mount bracket you put on the back of the TV uses about 4 inches of the extension distance. I would recommend this product for a simpler space and situation.

heavy, sturdy and a great bracket

This mount is fantastic! One piece of advice is to be sure that you have a drill and a ratchet set when installing. It's also likely that you'll need an extra set of hands to help hold it in place during installation because it's heavy. My husband and I started out with hand tools and that was not sufficient to install it into the studs. We ended up using a slightly larger drill bit than was recommended and once we found the ratchets it was much easier. This thing can pull out, move side to side...

Wonderful experience!

The holder does even more than we expected! We are old enough to use the Amozon installater, who was ont time, knew what he was doing and went to great lengths to keep the area clean. Showed us how every thing works. That's as good as it gets

61lb TV makes it lopsided

This mount will hold my 61lb 70" TV BUT it makes the perfectly level mount UNLEVEL once the TV is on it. The weight of the TV makes the skinny arm push down and then the TV is lopsided. Thankfully it has the leveling screws on the plate that the TV hangs on, we were able to level it that way.

Sturdy, but not as tight as it should be for the weight. Clunky back-plate.The hole intended as wire pass-through is nearly worthless as when you push it fluch, the arm will hit any plug in that space.Sits TV pretty far from the wall.Up-side: you can move a TV all the way out with confidence.
