I had this same product many years ago. i thought I was ordering something different. The problem is that the non skid stuff eventually becomes crumbly and hard and ends up being like sandpaper under your rug. In my case we had to refinish the wood floor under it. I will monitor this and buy something else when the stuff starts to age. Wish I had bought something else. Twice fooled.

Would RecommendPad is nice and thick, easy to trim and the rubber backing is great for keeping it in place as well as protecting the flooring from liquids.

Would RecommendI bought this for the reviews and they were right! I like the rubber bottom a lot and it was easy enough to trim to size. Previously we had an okra pad with the sticky bottom and I much prefer spending the extra dough on this!
