A little confused if DIY the first time due to no instruction

A major disappointment

Failed in less than two years. This Moen GXP33C was properly installed and used under normal household conditions. It suddenly stopped working and will not reset. For the price and for a brand like Moen, this kind of lifespan is unacceptable. A garbage disposal should last far longer than this. Very disappointed and would not purchase again.

Moen Food Disposal - Very Happy

This garbage disposal was on sale and a moen product. It appealed to my budget as well as to my ability to relate to the product quality. It's actually a little smaller than my old half horse power unit. It's been installed now for about a week. I am happy and would recommend this product to others. I'd also like to give a shout out to lamont and lisa at the lowes and lee's summit.

Need a special wrench if clogges

You know when your disposal clogges every now and again and hums? Remember how easy it was to take the Allen wrench to the bottom? Yeah, not moen. You need a special tool to unjam it from the top that the big box stores don't sell and you'll be buying off of the big online seller.

It is a little loud

I bought this garbage disposal for my daughter’s rental. Plumber says it was easy to install and it had some parts already connected that other disposal he had to put together. The electrical cord is also included and connected to he disposal. It was also cheaper.

Lightweight easy install .Not as loud as I thought it would be ,which makes it better .I like the removable splash guard that you can wash off.I would buy another if needed.

Check box for all parts before purchase

The disposal I purchased is essentially the same make and model as the one I replaced. Unfortunately many of the parts listed on the instructions were missing from the box. Specifically, most of the parts for the drain and other connections were missing. I chose not to return it because the disposal itself fit the existing configuration without need for the missing parts. Had I needed those parts, I would have had to go through the inconvenience of trying to return it and the frustration of conv...

Easiest install ever for a disposal. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to install a light duty unit.
