It can't hold it's own weight

Pretty disappointed in the design and weight. The monitor weighs too much to be held on by magnets taped to your laptop cover. This connection cable sticks out of the end and is ugly. Design placement was poor. There are plenty of better options for the money.

Random Screen Freeze & Blackout

I was so excited to order this product 2wks ago. I'm going to school for my bachelor's so I'm writing a lot of papers. However, the screen randomly freezes up, turns off, and then turns back on after about 5 seconds which is very frustrating when you're in the middle of typing a research paper. This sucks too because I use it in public places and tons of people are constantly walking up to me to ask me questions and get a closer look. This monitor is great! I wish I would have purchased this months ago when I started working from home. It makes work much easier and more efficient. I also like that the screen tilts and was super easy to setup.

Great when you have limited space for a standalone monitor!

I have not used monitor for gaming, but I have used for work and it's excellent screen quality, easy to move slides to 2nd screen!

Laptop Montior Does Not Work Consistently

When I initially purchased the monitor it worked great. After 3 weeks, I had to constantly unplug and plug in the usb so my laptop would recognize the monitor. Now my laptop does not recognize it at all and I had to reinstall the drivers again. I'm disappointed with the constant fixing especially for the price I paid for it.

Best product ever

Just as described. The mobile pixel Duex pro will tremendously help me with m work when I am away from my desk. I just wish I could do the same with the trios with this.However, the next big advertising, I will get me two trios. I love this product

A little lag. But otherwise great product

There's definitely a large lag between the screens that is noticeable. I wouldn't use this for gaming, but for adding a second monitor to my computer while developing code ordering on other projects worked well. Its a slim and compact design which is great as I don't have a lot of desk space for a regular monitor and the magnets work really well for making it a portable system for when working at home.

Great second screen!!

Make sure to follow the instructions on how to download the DisplayLink app to your computer. I really am happy to have it. The only thing that could make this better is a larger size. I didn't realize how much difference a couple of inches makes. You might consider going larger if it's available. Not sure it will dim at sunset with my other screen.

Great piece of equipment

This is a great product that allows dual screens on a laptop. The set up was simple, usage is simple and the picture quality is great!!! I would highly recommend this product.

Nice Product but

There is no technical phone line to call, only an email option. When I set up the monitor as suggested it turns off my laptop display. I am glad I bought the kickstand option or it would not work at all.

Great 2nd monitor

Nothing to dislike. I just had a zoom call from my couch but with more space! I love having more screen real estate away from my desk. ??

PERFECT FOR MACBOOK!

I have a simple macbook air. it is perfect. it comes with the proper cord. just follow the directions and your all set. I would recommend to anyone who has too small of an apartment and doesnt have decent home office space. or anyone who frequently travels but needs to work. love love love!

One of my best and favorite purchases.

The compact size and utility of this monitor is amazing. I am a huge fan of novel and functional engineering and this monitor fit that criteria.I can go anywhere and conveniently have a second monitor available.

I just ordered a new 15.6" mobile workstation to compliment my desktop graphics/cad dual-monitor setup. I had been looking at extra display solutions for the new mobile setup to replicate my main workstation environment and be a lot more productive with the added real estate. A great companion monitor on the go or at home

It's been a great monitor for use on trips or short outings as well as a permanent monitor for my workstation.When out and about I pull it out and use it in landscape mode for some extra real estate. When I'm using it at a workstation I use it in portrait mode for my chat windows, shell terminals, or long web pages.The sturdiness is a little lacking, however it's acceptable because of how light weight it is.My only criticism would be the mounting discs supplied.
