[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it for my wife’s laptop. She was listening to YouTube tv while working on her laptop. Now she can see and listen to it. She is one happy person and I’m one lucky guy.

Versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having the extra monitor while traveling and a 3rd while in the office. I also enjoy the flexibility of have the screen horizontal or vertical with a quick adjustment.

Great Product

Getting this monitor was the best decision, I love it !

Great Idea ...poorly made

The biggest issue we have is the monitor will not stay stuck to the back of the laptop monitor. The adhesive gets warm because it's on the back of the laptop screen and the MP monitor falls off. Also...the plastic casings around the magnets have all fallen off. We have had to super glue them back on. Really wanted this to work but if falls incredibly short of a being a good product

Faulty Cable

First - Let me start with I absolutely love this product. The only reason I've deducted one star is b/c my cable is faulty and any movement causes a loss of connection to my laptop. I have to make sure that I keep the cable very secure or wrapped up.

not stable, weak sticker

You can't really use it bc of it cant hang on your laptop all the time. It falls off. Buy something else. good idea bad design

Better late than never

Wish this was a "thing" when I traveled 100%. Now, it's a heavily relied on accessory that makes alternate work locations (almost) as comfortable as my home set-up. I've recommended this to more than a few colleagues.

Innovative, but some issues

The magnets continued to slide off my Mac due to the weight of the screen. I recommend a computer protection cover, that’s plastic. Have not had a problem since. After a year of off and on use for school, I’ve noticed something is pressing against the screen from the inside, creating loss a display in two spots. This happens 1/2” off the port side of the unit and 2” from top and bottom. I’m afraid it will eventually cause the screen to stop functioning.

Duex Plus

I bought the Duex Plus monitor from the Kickstarter campaign, and it has been amazing. I use it daily, and it makes working remotely from anywhere so easy. I can literally work anywhere now. It was the best thing I bought when I started working from home. The magnets take a little work to get in the right place when you first get it depending on the size of your laptop, so more magnet stickies would be helpful.

Very useful and cool, just wish a little more robust.

The idea and execution of the Duex Plus is outstanding. It works just as advertised and has been a perfect addition to my road-warrior setup. My only concern is that the though the materials look professional and of quality, the feel is a little thin and flimsy. It has not broken, mind you, but I am concerned about long term use and how the plastics and screen will hold up. 5 stars for now, but may have to adjust this review in the future.

LOVE IT! Light and compact!

This product couldn't be easier to install and use. I was a little hesitant at first to purchase. But glad I made the purchase. I use it everywhere. And always getting people asking me where I found it. It was easy to set up! Increased my productivity! Truly a great addition to my travels on the go!

Makes working more efficient

I bought myself the trio several months back and decided to buy my wife the Duex as we like to travel often and have the luxury of working remotely. Once again, MP comes in clutch, she loves it and makes her job so much easier being on the move.

magnets did not stay secured

I have been using the second screen on my laptop for less than one week and the magnets have come loose two times so I am not real happy; I imagine now that they have come off they have lost their full adhesion and will never stay very secure on my laptop. I was very careful to clean off my laptop before placing the magnets just as the instructions said. Very disappointed.

Doesn't work

The magnets don't hold. If you can get them to stick to the laptop itself pulling on the screen to pull it out or do anything sends the entire screen flying. Also the Origami stand also is terrible. Can't actually pull it out to stand the screen up without ripping the screen off the magnets. Overall it's a terrible design.
