Weak mounting system
The magnets that came with it to mount the portable monitor are not strong enough to support the weight. The monitor sags, which is frustrating. I didn’t feel great about the double sided adhesive on the back of my expensive laptop. I will likely buy the kickstand.

Strange lighting irregularity in the screen's backlight
The screen works decently. However, it has a strange yellow backlight. I haven't figure out a way to make it go away. I reached out to the seller but haven't heard back. Also, as some have warned, the screen does seem to hang off the side at a tilt, even though the part that's attached to the back of my screen is level with the desk. I have to use a small smartphone tripod to hold it up. If you decide to purchase the Trio Max, just be warned.

I don't have an office so I turn different areas of my house into an office and this monitor has worked great! It comes with enough metal tabs to do three computers and when I bounce from doing work on one computer to playing games on another it's so easy! Quality screen, Works awesome with my laptop.
I had been sitting on buying one of these screens for some time. I use 2 screens on my desktop constantly but never had a good setup for my laptop. I was a little worried about the tech and if it would actually work but I can say now it works great. Its a freeing feeling to know I have the second screen for when I am working from a coffee shop or that I can use to for a client presentation. The product works great. Really nice color and screen quality! Feels surprisingly sturdy. I have not attached it to my laptop as I am not yet sure that I want the magnets stuck in permanently. Good addition for remote computer work
Very interesting design and concept. It is a a two part setup that attached to your laptop with magnets. And then it will slide out and be the second monitor as shown. Worked right out tic the box and no need to download any drivers or software for my HP. Magnets not powerful enough to stay on laptop for trio Max
Quite simply just won't stay on the laptop. Period. The adhesive of the magnets stays on fine but it just falls off even when on a table. Absolutely no chance you could use the device as a laptop without it falling off. Going to buy more powerful magnets to see if they help. You would think they would have tested the Trio MAX to fix this issue before hand. Otherwise the screen quality is mediocre but would have been acceptable.

Very cool concept. Bought 2 of these. Picture quality is great, colors are bright. One point to note is that your laptop has to be kept flat against your desk surface and you cannot have it in a raised position when using these screens.
