Great size, weight and cutting edge

The weight is good enough to feel sturdy and is better balanced for a pinched grip. Out of the box the edge turns paper to confetti and can make quick work with sturdier root vegetables. There is an included tip guard in the box but no sheath. Very impressed with the blade so far.

Best chefs knife I've ever used

I thought I had good quality knives before from a competing brand but this blows them out of the water. I finally can experience what the professional chefs on food network can do slicing through anything with ease. The only thing is you definitely need to be careful not to cut yourself since you won't know you've cut yourself right away. Amazing!!!

This is the first chef knife I’ve owned, so I cannot offer a comparison against another brand. What I can say is that it chops freshly washed herbs effortlessly, cuts through pineapple like nbd, and can slice through a piece of paper like it’s butter.
