Would Not RecommendI live in an area where the soil is undesirable (hard clay mostly), thus the need for these spikes. Driving them into the ground is nearly impossible without shattering them even after it rained last night. Even when successful in driving in the spikes, the plastic cap split after a couple. With only 2 driving caps I was only able to drive in 2/3 of the pack. Results of these are yet to be seen...

Would Not Recommendthese spikes were soaking wet I tried to hammer 1 in with the cap on & it would not even go into the wet ground because it was so wet it just broke apart Left them out N the Sun & let them dry. I hammered them in & they crumbled & the content stayed in the cap & I had to dig the contents out Crumbs!
