A Little Too Firm for my taste

Was expecting something thinner that I could stir and then rub on with a rag. This stuff was thick and stout, more like candle wax. had to break it up and rub chunks onto my wood.

good for different wood applications

its supposed to help protect and lubricate my table saw. Seems to leave a smooth coating.

Leaves a nice shine

I am a woodturner and I use the "natural" version when ever I finish one of my projects. I'm typically turning elm, ash, walnut, oak, butternut and hackberry and the natural wax works great on all of them. I apply several light coats and then buff them out at a high speed. The more applications the better the piece looks. Thank you Minwax!

As expected. Great stuff.

As expected. Needed an all purpose wood project wax. Used this on table saw sled jig and on jointer table to help both surfaces slide better. I wanted one with a tinted color so that I’ll know if the wax needs to be reapplied to raw wood uses.

Good finish wax

My table looks better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this Miniwax paste finishing wax on the top of an old coffee table that I have that is pretty beat up and it did certainly improve the appearance of the table. Directions to recommend using a buffer polisher and I really think it would’ve been better if I had one of those but I just used a clean cloth. Definitely improved The looks and I think if I keep it up it will really look much better after a few more applications.

Not woth it

Very dry, did not help my furniture at all. Had i not already opened it and used it, i would've taken it back.

Great finishing wax

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on an old piece of furniture I was trying to bring back to like. For my first furniture diy this came in handy. This was easy to apply. It provided a nice natural looking finish. I’d try to use this again.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this in many of our projects. Set of wooden coasters came out beautiful. Just like waxing a car. You can even apply additional cats with ease. I have tried others with regrets. Even used this on my custom workbench top. Applied over top a coat of linseed oil for a great finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know what I was expecting in this product, but this wasn’t it. Maybe I need to establish expectation management but I thought this was a way different product. I just don’t have a use for this. I thought it was going to add more color to my wood than it did and overall I’m just disappointed with this product.

Paste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this product worked well on wood products. We had a number of wood columns in our house that our house puppies have chewed into the wood. The columns have had the white painted wood chewed on. We were able to use the paste to sculpt floor boards to their original shape.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this finishing wax on an old buffet which was in good condition but was faded and drab looking. The wax was easy to apply and left the old, faded finish looking clean and refreshed. It brought new life to this old piece.

Excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff brought that old coffee table back to life. The table was scuffed and dried out looking. An application of this with some old fashioned elbow grease and the table looks great. Good value and product that works as advertised.

Minwax is the only product for the job !

I used this finishing wax for an antique coffee table I refinished. It goes on super smooth, easy to follow directions, no crazy prep work, minimum tools required. Two coats had this beauty from the 1950’s looking like brand new.

Better than expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to use this on my wood kitchen cabinets. It really made it shine and give it that look that it has been missing over the years. After a good cleaning I applied this product, and it went on easy and buffed out easily. Its versatile and I was able to use it for other projects. I have two stair lifts in the house, and I used it on the tracks, and it made it run smoothly.
