Would Not RecommendI bought this 5 days ago and installed it in my basement and the humidity sensor was defective. You indicated that the humidity was only 30% when I bought it because the humidity is over 50%. I complained to Midea and they admitted that they’re getting many customer complaints about the unit. Do not buy it.

Nice machine
Would RecommendWorks great, keeps the humidity at the desired level and it’s easy to empty. If it were just a bit quieter it would be 100% perfect. I’ve never had a dehumidifier, so cannot compare the noise level to other models, but it’s about the same level as a quiet purifier or a small fan. Not bad.

Works well.
Would RecommendJust started using the product today. Got it for my basement laundry room. It was easy to set up, fairly quietly and is removing moisture from the room. Pleased with it so far.

Too Heavy
Would Not RecommendIt was delivered with a sticker on it that said, "HEAVY." And it was. I could barely lift the cube with the motor in it out of the reservoir. I selected this model because you can set a limit on the amount of water collected - so I could lift it. No where in the description was the weight of the appliance listed. It went back - after I got a neighbor to help me with it.

Works great but difficult to empty.
Would RecommendThe unit (50 pt) works great. It's fairly quiet and does the job quickly and efficiently. The one drawback is the unit nests on top of the collection bucket. You have to remove the unit, which weighs about 40 lbs, to empty the bucket. The bucket holds up to 4.25 gallons of water - and water weighs about 10 lbs a gallon. This makes it heavy and cumbersome to empty. This is a mute point if you use a drain hose.
Okay if you’re can use a hose to drain it.
I wouldn’t buy this if I weren’t able to drain the reservoir with a hose. To empty the pail you have to lift the heavy unit off the bucket, then lift the heavy pail of water to dump it. It’s not a problem if you’re going to use a hose for continuous draining.

Great Dehumidifier
Would RecommendGreat dehumidifier. Very quiet when running. Easy to empty. Wish it operated on 5G network instead of 2. Hard to program as phone and house default to 5G.
From Midea
Effective
Would RecommendDislike: No complete manual; had to use QR code to watch video on how use use it. Provided drain hose was folded and kinked in the packaging; difficult to straighten it completely. Like: Able to set it up to drain directly into a drain, thereby avoiding the need to empty the bucket regularly (bucketless mode). It brought the humidity in my 40x24 foot basement down from 73% to 55% in 24 hours.

Great dehumidifier
Would RecommendIt works incredibly well. We use it with the bucket on our first floor. We have a separate one in the basement attached to a hose, but that doesn't help the rest of our house. Our humidity was measuring 60% and the dehumidifier took it to 49% within a couple of hours. It's really effective and not very loud. We have it on our first floor near the kitchen/living room and it doesn't hinder our ability to watch TV.
