This 3 way convertible appliance is exactly what I needed. I needed more freezer space than a traditional freezer/frige but did not watn to give up the refrigerator section all together. I have it about a week and so far so good. The compaints about their being no light in bottom half and one door opening if you close the other too hard are all true for me as well. The only improvement is I wish it had more drawers

I love this fridge freezer combo with how much room is in the top and bottom aling with the versatility of being able to have either half fridge, half freezer, both as a freezer or both as a fridge. I also like that you can change the doors to open up on either side. We plan on getting another one to put side by side.

Brilliant Idea, Bad Execution

While I was really excited about the concept of a convertible fridge/freezer, and that part of this appliance is still satisfying, the lack of quality and vague instructions keep me from giving this a good rating. I wanted the doors to open from the right instead of left and so followed the instructions (which were terrible) in the manual to shift the hinge positions. There were holes missing, parts that were intended to be reusable that aren't, and worst after finishing the job, the door seal...

Not as expected

There's no way to make the bottom part a fridge and top freezer as described. (You can do freezer freezer or fridge fridge or top fridge bottom freezer but not top freezer bottom fridge). The bottom has no light. (?!?!?) The doors pop open all the time. (Yes it's leveled). There's no way to control the temps separately, when you change the temp, it changes for top and bottom. All around great fridge/freezer

This is the best fridge/freezer I have ever owned. It looks great and I love that I can have it as either all freezer, all refrigerator, or half and half.

There is not a light in the bottom half of fridge

Like it's options dislike there is only a light up top half of fridge

I LOVE this unit. I had a fridge and freezer combo with the freezer on top that I was replacing. Because I have limited space due to cabinets surrounding the fridge area, I landed on this Midea. I like that it has flexibility to turn into a freezer if I ever needed it, but otherwise I can have two fridge units.
